Project presentation Anthony Heywood and Uwe Derksen presented the concept of their work, a monumental Table sculpture that will be constructed and erected in the Ibrahim Khan for the European Capital of Culture Pafos2017. The artists are the initiators and creators of Tabula – Fortis in Pace (Table – Strength through Peace), inspired by Brancusi’s Table of Silence, and their artistic interventions form a debating platform, which adds to the aesthetic process, circadian and socio-political connotations. The process of making, the debates and dialogues, the contributions from the communities be it local or further afield, the physical object and it positioning in the Khan are all of equal importance and form part of the intervention and its legacy
