“Title is missing” is an audiovisual installation about my personal experiences of my divided country. The project uses a distortion of both images and sound or voice, as well as multiplication, layering and repetition in order to (re)create the chaos and aphasia of the war. The work TITLE IS MISSING explores the 1974 Turkish invasion in Cyprus but rather than giving details about the war the project focuses mainly on the emotional consequences for the people who lived through the war and includes my own experiences as the post-war generation.
