Letters to the other
Three writers from Pafos exchange correspondence with other writers from Denmark. These letters, exchanged between Andreas Petrides, Demetra Sokratous, Neophyta Polydorou and Sophie Eriksdatter, Thøger Jensen and Anna Friis, are not just a literary way of introducing or presenting one’s city of residence, but they are also ways to exchange ideas about their creative work and the artistic expression of their diversity.
A collaboration between the European Capitals of Culture Pafos2017 and Aarhus 2017.

Ways to Meet Αgain
The exhibition Ways to Meet Again focuses on an examination of what constitutes boundaries, borders and territories and how these are expanded or overcome. Through the opening up of their own memories, the artists revisit the concept of identity and examine the possibilities of conciliation between local and international means. The participants are also called to explore ways (through their works) to document, classify and record information, mechanisms of re-negotiation of historicity, as well as, ways to re-adapt personal and collective points of view. As a location, Cyprus has had an unchanged territorial value and, at the same time, has given space to the vision of interculturality.
The artists are alumni and graduate students of the Fine Arts postgraduate programme of Frederic University.

Curated by: Klitsa Antoniou, Vicky Pericleous, Panayiotis Michael, Chourik Torosian, Savvas Christodoulides.
In collaboration with Frederick University Nicosia
