The site of Aphrodite’s worship in Palaipafos and the surrounding area reflect an ancient tradition of worship of the great goddess of fertility dating back to the
Chalcolithic period (3900 – 2500 BC). The Department of Antiquities presents
Aphrodite of Pafos at her place of worship in the restored site of the Medieval
Manor House, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Old and new findings will be presented in an exhibition opening in January 2017.
