Members of the EP Committee on Culture and Education visit Pafos

Members of the European Parliament’s Committee on Culture and Education visited Pafos from 20-22 February 2017.

Within the programme of their visit, the Committee had the opportunity to meet with members from the Pafos2017 Board of Directors and the Artistic Programme Director, presenting the programme of events of the year. The Committee also visited the exhibitions ‘Far Off Lands’ in the presence of curator Arianna Economou and the art exhibition “Departing Mythologies”.

The 8member Committee was led by the German President Petra Kammerevert, in which the Greek MEP Theodoros Zagorakis participated. During their visit in Pafos, the Cypriot MEPs Costas Mavrides, Dimitris Papadakis and the Head of the European Partialment Office in Cyprus Antreas Kettis.
