Event Details
The Centre of Performing Arts MITOS presents the two-year project Hero-isms. The activities will start with the site-specific video installation in Paphos, based on the significant characteristic of Mouttalos area, an artistic residency will follow at the Grotowski Institute in Poland, a music presentation from the ancient tragedy The Persians by Aeschylus will be held in Wroclaw, Paphos and Limassol in 2016 and a full performance in 2017.

The thematic concept “PeriPoleos” consists of presentations by writers and of literary works with direct or indirect references to Paphos. Paphos becomes a point of literary reference and works of Paphian writers are presented, discussed and explored.

The Pafos2017 Community Involvement programme
Event Details
The Pafos2017 Community Involvement programme participates in the PaphosMarathon by transferring the flame of the Marathon from the Temple of Aphrodite in Kouklia, to the Sacred Gardens in Geroskipou and concludes with a ceremony at Paphos Medieval Castle.
The races will be held on Sunday 6/3/16.
